Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey was on target as his club, Achnas, played out a thrilling 2-2 draw with Apollon in the Cypriot league.
Lomotey opened the scoring, giving Achnas an early lead in a match filled with excitement and drama. Apollon had a golden opportunity to equalize through a penalty, but Marques P failed to capitalize, leaving the visitors trailing.
Achnas seemed firmly in control when Julian Bonetto extended their lead in the 53rd minute. However, Apollon refused to back down and launched a spirited comeback. Giorgos Malekkidis halved the deficit on the hour mark, reigniting the contest.
In a dramatic twist, Pedro David Rosendo Marques redeemed himself in the dying moments of the game, scoring a crucial goal in the 90th minute to secure a point for Apollon.
