Ghana’s young midfielder Forson Amankwah has been given the Man-Of-The-Match award following his impressive showings in the Austrian Típico Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.
The former WAFA SC playmaker grabbed two assists as Austrian giant Red Bull Salzburg secured an emphatic 4-0 victory away at Austria Lustenau.
Amankwah provided the assist for the opening goal of the match when he set up Roko Simic to score the opening goal of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after 21 minutes.
Four minutes later, the midfielder set up Oumar Solet to score the second goal for the Red and Whites outfit on the 25th minute mark of the match.
Karim Konate scored the third goal of the match to put the away team in a commanding 3-0 lead at half time.
Oscar Gloukh scored the fourth goal of the match to make it 4-0 at full time.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian prodigy has one goal and two assists in seven matches this season.
