Ghanaian defensive midfielder Isaac Twum has completed a free transfer to Norwegian club Førde, ending his spell with fellow Norwegian side Fjæra ahead of the new season.
The 28-year-old joins Førde, who compete in the Norsk Tipping-Ligaen Division 3, bringing valuable experience to the club’s midfield as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
The move, completed on 3 August 2026, was finalized without a transfer fee, with Twum joining as a free agent. Although the length of his contract has not been disclosed, the transfer marks the latest chapter in his career in Norwegian football.
Known for his ability to shield the defence, break up opposition attacks and control possession from deep midfield, Twum is expected to add leadership and stability to Førde’s engine room.
The former Ghana international has enjoyed a well-travelled career, featuring for clubs in Ghana, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan and Norway, while also earning senior appearances for the Black Stars.
Having spent time with Fjæra, Twum now remains in Norway as he looks to make an immediate impact with Førde in the 2026/27 season.
