In FC Spartak Trnava’s third round qualification match of the Europa Conference League, Kelvin Ofori made a significant impact by contributing to their 3-1 victory over Lech Poznaň.
The 21-year-old Kelvin Ofori started the game and remained on the field for 79 minutes before being substituted for Philip Azango.
The visitors had an early opportunity in the third minute when Ishak directed a corner kick towards goalkeeper Blažič, who missed the target. Despite Lech’s sustained pressure, Spartak held their defensive line solid with three defenders at the base.
Conversely, the Angels’ offensive play kept possession near the penalty area for an extended period, and Djuriin’s attempt ultimately went wide of the goal.
A skillfully executed long pass from Kóš’s defensive line found Kelvin Ofori positioned in front of the penalty area. He adeptly controlled the ball and dispatched a shot to the back post, beating Bednarek to put Spartak ahead 1-0.
In the 50th minute, the lead was extended to 2-0 thanks to Kelvin Ofori’s involvement once again. He secured possession on the right wing and set up Daniel, who exhibited composure in managing a challenging pass to overcome Bednarek.
Lech Poznaň managed to pull one goal back in the 63rd minute through Kristoffer Velde’s effort.
The victory was sealed for FC Spartak Trnava in the 74th minute when Lukas Štetina scored a remarkable goal, solidifying the final scoreline of 3-1.
