Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boadu featured for Al Ahly SC from Libya in their CAF Champions League prelims against Nigeria club Enyimba FC
He played full throttle for the Reds in their 4-3 victory in the first leg of the first round of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League preliminary round.
Despite Mbaoma Chijioke’s early goal, the home team rallied from the goal down to beat the visitors 4-3 ahead of the second leg in Enyimba next week.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian midfielder joined the team from Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
