Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC captain Richard Boadu has urged his teammates at Al Ahly to focus on their next game in Nigeria against Enyimba FC next weekend.
The Ghanaian midfielder dazzled for the Libyan powerhouse in their CAF Champions League prelims against Nigeria club Enyimba FC.
“Great win yesterday family, let’s keep our heads up on the next game. More to come” he wrote on social media after the game.
He played full throttle for the Reds in their 4-3 victory in the first leg of the first round of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League preliminary round.
Despite Mbaoma Chijioke’s early goal, the home team rallied from the goal down to beat the visitors 4-3 ahead of the second leg in Enyimba next week.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian midfielder joined the team from Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
