The midfielder moved into the army in the second leg of the 2025/26 season before the club signed him short time to step up as one of the team’s key players.

Throughout the past season, Darko played for Chonburi FC in 14 matches in all matches (total 1,089 minutes). He did an impressive performance in the role of a midfielder and became another important player for the club.
