Ghanaian budding midfielder Usman Suleman, made his first league start of the season for Finnish top-flight side IFK Mariehamn against Haka on Saturday, 13th May, 2023.
Usman, 20, was handed a starting role for the first time having been started from the bench in the club’s previous five games.
His impressive performance in midfield helped Mariehamn pick all three important points at the Wiklöf Holding Arena with a 2-1 victory.
The Ghanaian international lasted 80 minutes in the game for the winning side. He is expected to command more starting berths in the subsequent matches having enjoyed a good 80 minutes of action for the first time the season.
