Ghanaian international forward Hafiz Wontah Konkoni has completed a move to Libyan club Olympic Azzaweya SC from Tanzanian side Yanga SC.
The talented attacker has finalized a short-term loan agreement with the Libyan club, which will see him remain with them until the conclusion of the current football season.
Konkoni, who previously plied his trade with Bechem United FC, made the switch to Yanga SC earlier in the summer transfer window. However, his time with the Tanzanian club was marred by injuries during the initial stages of his stint.
Since the beginning of the season until now, the Black Stars forward has appeared in just five games, finding the back of the net twice. While one of those appearances came in the Tanzania league where he scored on his debut, the other goal was scored in the CAF Champions League.
Seeking to bolster their attacking options, Olympic Azzaweya SC has enlisted the services of the Ghanaian forward in the hopes that his presence will strengthen their frontline for the remainder of the season.
