Ghanaian striker Ibrahim Tanko showcased his scoring prowess for FK Javor in a Serbian top-flight fixture against Cukaricki, resulting in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Starting for his team in an away match at the Stadion Cukaricki, the 23-year-old forward left his mark on the game.
Cukaricki took the lead in the 15th minute through Serbian international Igor Miladinovic. However, Tanko swiftly responded, netting a goal for Javor in the 18th minute, leveling the score at 1-1 before halftime.
Cukaricki managed to regain the lead in the 70th minute with a goal from Serbian international defender Uros Drezgic, assisted by Miladin Stevanovic.
As the match approached its conclusion, the visitors managed to equalize once again. Luka Gojkovic converted a penalty in the 81st minute, making it a 2-2 draw.
Tanko showcased a full and impactful performance throughout the entire match, while his compatriot Samuel Owusu remained on the field for 60 minutes before being substituted.
