Ghanaian Striker Moro Sumaila is elated after scoring twice for Etincelles against Rayon Sports at the Umuganda Stadium in Gisenyi on Sunday, December 11.
The Rwanda Premier League Week 12 game saw the home side defeating the league leaders by three goals to two with Sumaila netting a brace.
The talented forward who has been arguably the best player in the Rwandan Premier League this season was pleased with his strikes as he hopes to do more.
” I definitely knew I was going to score a brace against Rayon Sports,” Sumaila told Sportsworldghana.com
“I always think about scoring and I pray to Allah about it. I really believe in my abilities and that is helping me.”
Sumaila has now netted eight goals and provided four assists in the 2022/23 Rwanda Premier League season.
He has now scored against Kiyovu Sports, AS Kigali as well as Rayon Sports in the ongoing season.
“I am happy to score against the big teams because as a striker, you have to think more about goals.”
“My dream is to score against all the big teams in the league and I am glad that everything is on course,” he added.
Ibrahim Niyosenga gave Etincelles the lead in the first minute against Rayon Sports before Moro scored in the 26th and 38th minute to make it 3-0 before first half.
The second half saw Moussa Camara and Prince Rudasingwa netting for Rayon Sports to end the game 3-2.
