Ghanaian striker Patrick Twumasi found the back of the net for Maccabi Netanya when they whitewashed leaders Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli Liga ha’Al on Saturday evening at home.
The Ghanaian international scored and also provided an assist as Netanya won 3-0 over Haifa at the Netanya Stadium in the Championship group play-off fixture.
The Ghanaian forward who was set up by Serbian forward Igor Zlatanovic and scored the opening goal of the match on the 21st minute mark of the match.
Twumasi turned to be the provider for Zlatanovic to double the advantage for Netanya on the stroke of halftime.
Zlatanovic grabbed his second goal of the match to put the hosts 3-0 lead just after the hour mark.
The Ghanaian forward has 4 goals in 10 appearances for Netanya in the Israeli top-flight since joining them in February from German side Hannover 96.
