Ghanaian attacker Patrick Twumasi has achieved a historic milestone with Pafos FC, as the club claimed its first-ever Cypriot Cup by defeating Omonia 3-0 in the final.
Goals from Muamer Tankovic (8’), Vlad Dragomir (36’), and Pedro Rodrigues (40’) sealed the victory for Pafos on Saturday evening, with Twumasi remaining an unused substitute.
This triumph marks the first trophy for the Paphos-based club since its formation in 2009. Following this victory, Twumasi and his team will participate in the Europa League qualifying round for the first time in the club’s history next season.
The 30-year-old former Black Stars striker joined the Cypriot club from Israeli side Hapoel Netanya.
This season, he has played 23 games for Pafos, scoring three times.
