Ghanaian forward Sadick Sulley was on target over the weekend as his side Bugesera FC defeated AS Kigali by two goals to one on match day 30 of the 2022/23 Rwanda Premier League season.
Bugesera who had their destiny in their own hands needed to win the crunch encounter at home to ensure their safety and they did that with a convincing 2-1 scoreline.
Justus Nkurunziza opened the scoring at the Nyamata Stadium for Bugesera in the 30th minute before Moise Nyarugabo equalized in the 45th minute. With the scores at 1-1 and the game heading to recess, Ghanaian striker Sadick Sulley netted the second on the third minute of the first half injury time.
The former Legon City FC attacker was flamboyant in attack with his great hold up play as the AS Kigali defenders could not contain him.
The win saw Bugesera finishing the season at 13th position with 32 points.
