Ghanaian forward Samuel Tetteh has officially made his move to Azerbaijani Premier League, Gabala SC.
The 27-year-old has inked a two-year contract with the two-time Azerbaijani Cup champions, following his departure from Adanaspor.
Having spent the last two years in Turkey, representing both Adanaspor and Birdimirspor, the former WAFA winger is now donning the colors of the Red and Blacks.
The club itself confirmed the transfer, announcing, “Gabala welcomes another addition to our team, Samuel Tetteh. We have signed a two-season contract with the 27-year-old Ghanaian striker.”
In 2006, Gabala made their debut in the Azerbaijani Premier League and has secured second place in the league on three occasions. Additionally, the club has clinched the National Cup two times, triumphing in both 2019 and 2023.
Tetteh boasts eight caps for Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars, with one goal to his name.
His overseas career commenced in Austria, where he played for Red Bull Salzburg, LASK, and SK St Polten. He also had a stint on loan in the United States, featuring for Red Bull Salzburg.
