Italian Serie C side Novara FC has officially announced the loan signing of Ghanaian youngster Enoch Owusu from top-flight giants Inter Milan.
The 18-year-old winger joins the Stadio Silvio Piola outfit from Inter Milan’s U19 youth ranks, bringing his promising talent to the third tier of Italian football for the 2024/25 season.
In their official statement, Novara FC expressed excitement about the acquisition: “Novara Football Club announces that it has acquired the rights to the sporting performances, on a temporary basis, of Enoch Owusu. The striker arrives on loan from Football Club Internazionale Milano.”
Describing Owusu’s capabilities, the statement continued, “A young striker who can cover all the roles on the offensive front, his great speed is one of his main characteristics. With the Nerazzurri, he won a Primavera Championship. He also boasts appearances in the Italian U17 and U18 National Teams. The Blue Club welcomes Enoch.”
Born to Ghanaian parents in Italy, Owusu has represented Italy at the U17 and U18 levels but remains eligible to play for Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, in the future. His move to Novara FC is seen as a crucial step in his development, offering him regular playing time and the chance to further hone his skills.
Owusu’s arrival at Novara is anticipated to bolster their attacking options as they aim for success in the upcoming Serie C campaign.
