Ghanaian defender, Emmanuel Ntim was on target for the second time this season for Stade Malherbe Caen in the French Ligue 2 on Saturday afternoon at home to Le Havre.
The former Valenciennes FC man came from the bench to score a consolation goal for the Red and Blues in their narrow 2-1 defeat at home in the second tier league in France.
He came on after 74 minutes to take the place of French defender, Ibrahim Cisse with 16 minutes to the end of the match.
French defender, Gautier Lloris scored the opening goal of the match to put the away team in the lead three minutes to the end of the opening 45 minutes of the match.
Oussama Targhalline added to the advantage of the visitors eleven minutes into the second half of the match to make it a healthy 2-0 lead.
Just before the 90th minute mark, Ntim grabbed his second goal of the season for Stade Malherbe Caen in the French Ligue 2 but it wasn’t enough to get them a single point as they succumbed to a routine 2-1 defeat.
