Leicester City winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, earns a spot in the English Championship Team of the Week for his stellar performance against Cardiff City on Friday night.
The 19-year-old prodigy delivered both assists in Leicester’s 2-0 victory at the Cardiff City Stadium, showcasing his continued excellence since joining on a season-long loan from Sporting Lisbon.
Issahaku, a key figure in Enzo Maresca’s squad, played a crucial role in setting up midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for the opening goal in the 18th minute.
His involvement didn’t stop there, as he contributed to the second goal, providing a decisive pass to James Justin, who scored a remarkable goal from the edge of the penalty area.
Currently on loan, Issahaku has made 21 appearances for the Foxes, tallying two goals and seven assists.
Leicester City holds an option to make his move permanent at the end of the season.
