Following Southampton’s relegation to the Championship, Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has addressed his future at the club.
The 21-year-old joined Southampton during the January transfer window on a five-year contract, committing his future to the club until 2027.
In the final game of the season against Liverpool, Sulemana showcased his abilities by scoring two goals to secure a draw for the Saints at St Mary’s.
However, Sulemana has expressed his openness to exploring other opportunities following Southampton’s drop to the second-tier league.
“I’m prepared for whatever lies ahead. If I remain at Southampton, I will contribute to the team’s efforts to bounce back. But if there are other opportunities to consider, I will be open to exploring them,” Sulemana stated.
During his time with Southampton, the former Stade Rennais player made 18 appearances, scoring two goals and providing an assist. His impressive performances, combined with his exceptional talent and speed, are likely to attract interest from clubs in the top-flight.
As a result, Sulemana is expected to garner attention from clubs looking to harness his enormous potential and abilities.
