Ghanaian youngster Daniel Owusu netted his debut goal for FC Liefering on Friday night in the Austrian Division One League.
The former WAFA SC graduate scored his team’s second goal in their 2-0 away win over Kapfenberger SV in the ongoing 2021-22 season in Austria.
Owusu came on as a second half substitute as he came to take the place of Nene Dorgeles who missed a spot kick in the first half of the match.
Before the Ghanaian’s introduction into the match, Elias Havel had opened the scoring in the second half with a 70th minute strike.
Havel turned provider as he set up the youngster, Owusu whom came into the match on the 77th minute mark to score on his debut to make it 2-0 to the vis with three minutes left on the clock to play.
The game ended 2-0 to Liefering.
