Ghanaian youngster Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is set to join English Championship outfit Sheffield United on a season-long loan from Crystal Palace in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old attacker is expected to undergo a mandatory medical before putting pen to paper for the Blades.
Rak-Sakyi was a top transfer target for several clubs, including Leeds, Norwich, and Burnley, but it appears Sheffield United have won the race to sign the Ghanaian attacker. He will join the club on a season-long loan, seeking regular playing time ahead of the new campaign.
The Ghanaian forward had enjoyed an impressive preseason with Crystal Palace, but that could not guarantee him playing time under manager Oliver Glasner. As a result, he has decided to sanction a loan move to Sheffield United to get more game time.
Rak-Sakyi’s current contract with Crystal Palace is expected to expire in the summer of 2027. Born and raised in London, he remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level.
