Former Liberty Professionals teenage, Leonard Offeo Amesimeku has completed a move to United Arab Emirate Pro League side Al-Dhafra FC from Al-Jazira.
The 19-year old talented midfielder is joining the Madinat Zayed club on a long-term deal on Monday, after a two-year development stint in Abu Dhabi with the Al jazira club.
Amesimeku left Liberty Professionals two seasons ago after his a breakthrough season in the erstwhile Normalization Committee Special Competition.
The youngster’s performance in the competition caught the attention of a number of clubs before deciding to continue his development with the Al-Jazira Academy in Abu Dhabi.

The move to Al-Dhafra offers Amesimeku a step to kick off his professional career after years of going through the mill at Liberty Professionals in Ghana and Al-jazira in the UAE.
