Ghanaian young talent Raymond Asante has secured a spot in Udinese’s First Team roster for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
The 19-year-old has swiftly risen to prominence under the watchful eye of coach Andrea Sottil, earning a well-deserved promotion for the upcoming campaign.
Asante made a strong impression on Le Zebrette during his year with the Primavera squad, impressively tallying three goals and three assists in 21 matches.
He is among a quartet of players, which also includes Florin Thauvin, Sekou Diawara, and Simone Pafundi.
Despite nursing a shoulder injury, the former Apostles FC playmaker was introduced to fans as a member of the First Team roster in advance of the friendly clash against Qatari side Al Rayan.
However, Asante is expected to miss the first month of the Serie A campaign due to his injury.
