Ghanaian defender Stanley Quarshie has been given a trial opportunity with English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers. The centre-back from Vim Sporting Club has recently arrived in England, where he will begin his trials, aiming to secure a permanent deal.
Quarshie is set to join the youth team at Wolverhampton, where the technical department will closely monitor his performance before making a final decision.
The towering defender caught the attention of scouts during the Samba Star tournament in Ghana, where his impressive displays stood out.
He follows in the footsteps of fellow Ghanaian youngsters, such as David Oduro and Fatawu Ganiwu, who both had the chance to trial with Chelsea.
