Ghana’s Black Stars favourite left-back Abdul Baba Rahman has been included in the Black Stars team for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The PAOK defender has walked into the Black Stars team again after returning from injury which kept him out of the team’s last two matches.
Although he came under public criticism and scrutiny during the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar, the technical team have shown faith in the player and had given him a call-up for Thursday’s game.
He comes to boot Patrick Kpozo out of the team and could start for Ghana against Central African Republic on Thursday evening at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi after an explosive start to the season in Greece.
