It is a make-or-break fixture for Moses Armah Parker’s Medeama SC against Al Ahly.
A win will put them in a good position to qualify but a defeat will almost end their CAF Champions League campaign.
Medeama has been playing at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi as a result of their venue not being ready to host games.
Attendance has been extremely low at the Baba Yara in Medeama’s two home games played so far.
The owner has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians, especially football fans in Kumasi to visit the Baba Yara Stadium to support Medeama against Al Ahly.
“Ghanaians should come and support Medeama; it is Ghana versus Egypt now, that is how the game is,” declared Armah,
“They are all coming here, and if they want good football to watch, this is the time Ghana should come and support so that we thrash them,” added Moses Parker.
Medema club owner urged Ghanaians to come and watch good football as Al Ahly has so many Egyptian national team players who are thrilling to watch.
Besides, they have Antony Modeste, Ali Maaloul and Percy Tau who are all Grade A players on the continent.
The build-up to the game has been extremely exciting. Al Ahly contingents landed in Ghana yesterday and will prepare to face Medeama on Friday in Kumasi.
