The South African Football Association will name a new Bafana Bafana head coach within the next 24 hours.
The Rainbow country dismissed Molefi Ntseki last month following the team’s failure to qualify for the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that the country’s football ruling body has gone through the over 200 applications and a new gaffer will be named by 2:00pm South African time on Saturday April 24, 2021.
The top candidates on the bill includes Hugo Broos who won the AFCON with Cameroon in 2017 as well as former Real Madrid and Manchester deputy coach Carlos Queiroz.
South Africa are drawn in the same 2022 World Cup qualifying Group alongside Ghana, Mozambique and Ethiopia.
