Ghanaian international defender Baba Abdul Rahman return to club football on a high level as he provided an assist in Reading FC game on Saturday.

Despite his horrific Africa Cup of Nations campaign with Ghana in Cameroon, the former Schalke 04 man played an excellent game in the Blue and Whites defeat at home in the English Championship.

The 27-year-old provided the assist for the first goal scored by Reading Lucas Joao in their 3-4 loss to FC Huddersfield.

The Ghanaian played the entire duration of the game few days after returning from international duty with Ghana.

Baba Rahman was part of the Black Stars when they crashed out at the group stage for the first time in 16 years after suffering a shocking and disgraceful defeat to the minnows, Comoros.
