Ghana’s Bernard Tekpetey makes Bulgari First Professional League Team-Of-The-Week

Bernard Tekpetey, the Ghanaian winger, earned a well-deserved spot in Sofascore’s Parva Liga team of the week for his stellar performance in Ludogorets’ clash against Hebar.

During Ludogorets’ commanding 3-0 victory over Hebar in the Bulgarian First Professional League, Tekpetey emerged as the standout player, showcasing his exceptional skills and prowess on the field.

Starting the game, Tekpetey made a significant impact, netting two goals in the first half before being substituted after 62 minutes of play.

The match, held at the Georgi Benkovski Stadium, saw Ludogorets assert their dominance early on, with Tekpetey playing a crucial role in securing their lead.

In the 7th minute of the game, Tekpetey capitalized on a brilliant pass from Aslak Fonn Witry, who found Kwadwo Duah before setting up Tekpetey for an effortless finish, putting Ludogorets ahead 1-0.

Tekpetey continued to shine, doubling Ludogorets’ lead in the 19th minute following a defensive lapse from Hebar. Exploiting the opportunity, Tekpetey calmly slotted the ball past the goalkeeper to extend Ludogorets’ advantage to 2-0.

Rwan Seco further solidified Ludogorets’ dominance with a third goal in the 78th minute, capitalizing on another assist from Aslak Fonn Witry.

Throughout the season, Tekpetey has been a consistent performer for Ludogorets, tallying an impressive ten goals and providing four assists in 28 appearances in the Bulgarian First Professional League.

Kwadwo Duah, the Swiss-born Ghanaian striker, also made a notable contribution to Ludogorets’ victory, starting the game alongside Tekpetey and showcasing his skills before being substituted after 62 minutes.

Tekpetey’s inclusion in Sofascore’s team of the week reflects his outstanding form and impact on Ludogorets’ success, highlighting his importance to the team’s aspirations in the Bulgarian First Professional League.

As Ludogorets continues their campaign, Tekpetey’s consistent performances serve as a source of inspiration and confidence for the team, propelling them towards further victories and achievements in the league.
