Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu expressed his joy and gratitude upon signing with French Ligue 1 team Stade Rennais, considering it a privilege.
At 23 years old, he makes the move from fellow French top-flight club Clermont Foot in a deal valued at approximately €11 million. Seidu successfully underwent mandatory medical checks following his return from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where his playing time was limited.
The versatile player committed to a four-year contract, securing his association with Stade Rennais until 2028. Following the announcement of the deal, Seidu shared his enthusiasm about the transition.
