Ghanaian footballer Caleb Ansah Ekuban made a crucial contribution to Genoa’s victory over Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A with a beautiful goal.
Starting the match at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi, Ekuban put in an impressive performance for his team.
Although Hellas Verona took the lead early in the game through Federico Bonazzoli, Ekuban equalized for Genoa just before halftime, ensuring both teams went into the break with a goal each.
In the second half, Genoa continued their strong showing and secured the win with a goal from Iceland international Albert Gudmundsson in the 58th minute.
Ekuban played for 66 minutes before being substituted for Emil Bohinen.
With this goal, Ekuban has now scored three times and provided one assist in 23 Serie A appearances this season.
