Ghanaian international, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt scored for Holstein Kiel in the German Bundesliga 2 on Saturday afternoon against Darmstadt 98 away from home.

The former FC Bayern München striker grabbed a consolation goal for his team as they suffered a 1-3 loss on the road.

The Ghanaian came from the bench to score his team’s only goal in their loss to promotion chasers Darmstadt four minutes after his introduction to the game.

Holstein Kiel went down by two goals at the end of the first half of the frenetic and end-to-end clash.

He was subbed on after the break and needed just four minutes to get his name on the score sheet for the visitors.

His strike was not enough as his team succumbed to a 3-1 defeat on the road.

The 27-year-old Ghanaian Center-forward has two goals in eight matches for his team since joining from Willem II in Netherlands.
