Ghana’s Joseph Paintsil was on target for Genk FC in win over KV Kortrijk on Sunday evening in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League in Belgium.
The Ghanaian forward netted his second goal of the season for the Blue and Whites outfit as they beat the Red and Whites outfit 2-0 at home.
Nigeria’s Paul Onauchu scored the first goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up on the 17th minute mark of the match.
Five minutes later, Paintsil found the top right corner from close range to score his team’s second goal to secure a vital home win with a 2-0 score line.
He played 74 minutes of the match before he was substituted as his side moved into the championship playoffs spot.
The 24-year-old versatile forward has two goals this campaign in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League in 17 matches.
