Mathew Anim Cudjoe delivered a standout performance as Bnei Sakhnin secured a 2-1 victory over Beitar Jerusalem in the Israeli Premier League on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian midfielder played a key role in his team’s win, providing the assist for the opening goal in the 12th minute, scored by Konstantinos Sotiriou.
Cudjoe’s influence continued in the second half when he set up a play that ultimately led to his own first goal for the club in the 54th minute.
After receiving a pass near the center circle, he sent the ball to Obeida Darwish on the right flank. Darwish then crossed it back into the box, where Cudjoe smashed it home, giving Bnei Sakhnin a 2-0 lead.
His excellent performance earned him a player rating of 8.3.
