Ghanaian player Mohammed Kudus is back playing for West Ham United after his national team, the Black Stars, left the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Recently, in the 22nd week of the English Premier League, Kudus started for West Ham in a game against AFC Bournemouth at the London Stadium.
Within three minutes into the first half, AFC Bournemouth scored due to a mistake from Kalvin Philips, allowing Dominic Solanke to take advantage and give his team the lead.
Even though West Ham controlled the game after falling behind, they couldn’t score before halftime.
After the break, Kudus earned a penalty for West Ham, leading to James Ward-Prowse scoring and leveling the game.
Despite efforts, neither team scored again, resulting in a 1-1 draw, securing an important point for West Ham United thanks to Mohammed Kudus.
