Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has emphasized the crucial role of confidence within the team as the Gunners aim to challenge Europe’s elite clubs this season.
Partey’s comments follow Arsenal’s narrow miss of the English Premier League title last season, where they finished just two points behind Manchester City. “I think the confidence is always there. We are there to compete with the best and we know we need to get the best out of ourselves to be able to compete. We have to compete against each other and then, at the end of the day, we will be able to compete against the other teams,” Partey stated.
