Ghanaian youngster Gideon Mensah is hoping to face Cristiano Ronaldo in Qatar after a crazy experience dealing with Messi.

According to the left-back, facing Lionel Messi was a difficulty task and suffered some pains in his waist after the game.

Nonetheless, the former RB Salzburg player is is salivating over the possibility of playing against Manchester United and world superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

“It was crazy playing against Lionel Messi in the French Ligue 1 in Paris this season but I’m also looking forward to the Ronaldo challenge later this year”, he told Joy Sports in an interview.

Mensah helped Ghana to qualify for the 2022 World Cup with qualification over arch rivals Nigeria later in the month of March.

Ghana will play Portugal in the first match before squaring off against South Korea and Uruguay respectively.
