Veteran Sports Broadcaster and Politician Kwabena Agyapong has described Ghanaian left-back Gideon Mensah as a very good player.
The top politician says the former FC Girondins Bordeaux player is a good and very intelligent left-back following an explosive performances for Ghana.
“There is this defender who played recently for the Black Stars as left-back, Gideon Mensah, he’s very intelligent and a good player” he said on Metro Tv’s Good Evening Ghana show.
The Red Bull Salzburg player has been a pivot and a consistent performer for the Black Stars team since coach Otto Addo took over as head coach of Ghana.
Mensah played both games against rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2022 World Cup playoff in March.
He also featured in the opening two matches of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central Africa Republic.
