Black Stars defender, Gideon Mensah, was in action for AJ Auxerre once again over the weekend in the French Ligue 1.
The left-back joined the club during the summer transfer window but had his debut delayed due to card accumulation and lack of match fitness.
However, after making his debut in midweek against Olympique Lyon, Mensah was named in the starting line-up once again as Auxerre battled it out with Marseille at home.
The Ghanaian played all minutes available as his side suffered a 2-0 defeat to Marseille.
With back-to-back defeats, Mensah will look to grab his first win with the club when Auxerre play Kamaldeen Sulemana’s Stade Rennais away from next weekend.
