Black Stars defender Gideon Mensah is back on the pitch as he steps up his recovery after missing the last few games.
Mensah has not played any game since coming off injured in AJ Auxerre’s league win over Troyes after the international break.
The 24-year-old came off in the 24th minute of the game and was seen after the match with clutches in the dressing room.
The injury has also seen him miss the last two league games against Ajaccio and Nantes, where his side has gone on to record wins in both games as they have moved out of the relegation zone.
However, the player could be nearing a return to full fitness after beginning training on the pitch on Tuesday, April 18.
It is unknown whether he will return in time for Auxerre’s game against Lille over the weekend.
