Experienced Ghanaian midfielder Gladson Awako is in ecstacy after signing a new deal with club side Accra Hearts of Oak SC ahead of CHAN tournament in Algeria.
The midfielder is in seventh heaven after extending his stay with the Rainbow Boys, a team he describes as his Boyhood club after the deal.
He penned a new deal which will keep him at Accra Hearts of Oak SC till at least 2024 with a further one year renewal option.
Speaking to heartsofoaksc.com, Awako was grateful to the Board and management of the club for reposing confidence in him and allowing him to play for his childhood club.
He expressed joy and promised to continue to work hard and lift the brand of the club.
“I am very happy to have extended my contract with this beautiful family. It’s amazing because this is my childhood club and it is a club I have always wanted to play for before I quit football in future.”
