Completing his first season with Asante Kotoko, goalkeeper Fredrick Asare expresses immense satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment.
Having joined as a free agent from Accra Lions at the beginning of the recently concluded season, the 24-year-old featured in 24 league matches for Asante Kotoko, showcasing his skills and keeping seven clean sheets.
Despite facing numerous challenges throughout the season, Fredrick Asare remains positive and determined, pledging to return even stronger in the upcoming 2023/24 season.
Acknowledging the hurdles encountered by the team, he holds firm belief in their collective strength and resilience, confident that they will rebound and regain their winning momentum.
Taking to Twitter, Asare shares his contentment with his debut season, stating, “A great feeling in my first season for the Greatest club in Ghana. Through all the ups and downs, we shall surely bounce back!!”
As the Ghana Premier League concludes, Asante Kotoko wraps up their season with a goalless draw against Dreams FC on the final day of the competition at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Finishing in fourth place, the Porcupine Warriors accumulate 52 points.
