Bibiani Goldstars head coach, Frimpong Manso, says he is expecting a tough battle when his side faces Bechem United in an outstanding Ghana Premier League Week 22 fixture.
The much-anticipated clash is set to take place on Wednesday afternoon at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Coach Manso acknowledged the strength of Bechem United and predicted a challenging match. However, he remained hopeful that his team could come away with a positive result.
“It’s going to be difficult against Bechem United. None of our remaining games is going to be a walkover. Bechem drew with Kotoko and might want to secure victory at home against us. For me, it’s going to be difficult. The result can be 50-50. It can go for any of us. We are going there and will try to win,” he stated.
Goldstars currently sit second on the league table with 47 points, holding a seven-point advantage over their upcoming opponents, who are in 7th place with 40 points. As the title race heats up, Coach Manso and his squad are determined to avoid defeat in order to strengthen their push for the championship.
Bechem United, on the other hand, will be eager to claim all three points at home to close the gap on the standings, with only a few matches left in the season.
