The entire Black Stars team have tested negative for Covid-19 ahead of the African Cup of Nations opener against Morocco on Monday evening, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The Ghana team arrived in Cameroon safely ahead of the tournament and head coach Milovan Rajevac confirmed in his press that there are no Covid-19 positive cases at camp.
Milovan Rajevac: There are no covid 19 concerns for Ghana after latest round of tests at the moment.”
I asked Coach Milovan if Ghana has a Covid-19 worry in camp.
“Yes Covid-19 is very serious and has worried some teams but Ghana did our PCR test yesterday and fortunately everyone is okay. We don’t have a problem with covid”,he added.
The Black Stars will play Morocco in their first AFCON game on Monday.
