The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that all eighteen Premier League clubs have successfully submitted their venues for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
The GFA also announced that the clubs have complied with the Club Licensing Regulations by providing alternative match venues.
The official statement released by the GFA reads, “All 18 Premier League Clubs have submitted their match venues ahead of the start of the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League in September. The Clubs have also submitted their alternative match venues in accordance with the Club Licensing Regulations of the Ghana Football Association. Training facilities of all Clubs have also been confirmed.”
The 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to kick off from September 15 to September 18, 2023.
In preparation for the new season, clubs have been granted a mandatory rest period from June 19, 2023, to July 28, 2023. The registration window is set to open on July 20, 2023, with the deadline for player registration on September 1, 2023. Queries related to registrations must be submitted by September 4, 2023.
Notably, twelve days before the commencement of the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League, the defending champions Medeama SC will face FA Cup winners Dreams FC in a thrilling Champion of Champions match.
