The Phobians secured a resounding 3:0 against Real Tamale United in their first game of the Ghana Premiership second round.

Following the Phobians Academy graduate’s incredible performance, he was adjudged the Man of the Match after the game which marked new manager Aboubakar Ouattara‘s first game.

Right from the kickoff, Hearts of Oak showcased their prowess, swiftly taking the lead in just 17 minutes into the game. It was the talented youngster, Hamza Issah, whose brilliant strike found the back of the net, granting the Phobians the early advantage they deserved.

As the first half progressed, Hamza Issah once again stole the spotlight, scoring his second goal in the 39th minute, further solidifying Hearts of Oak’s dominance on the field. With this remarkable brace, he propelled his team into halftime with a comfortable lead, leaving RTU trailing behind.

Despite RTU’s efforts to stage a comeback after the break, they were unable to match the skill and determination of the hosts. Hearts of Oak continued to assert their superiority, maintaining control of the game with precision and finesse.

In the 70th minute, Hearts of Oak sealed their victory with yet another goal, this time courtesy of Enoch Asubonteng, further extending their lead to an impressive 3-0. The Accra Sports Stadium erupted with cheers as fans celebrated their team’s commanding performance on the pitch.

Meanwhile, RTU faced a tough defeat, descending to the bottom of the league standings, prompting them to regroup and strategize for future matches.

As the final whistle blew, echoing the triumph of Hearts of Oak, the team and their supporters reveled in the glory of victory, buoyed by their remarkable display of skill, teamwork, and determination. This victory serves as a testament to the unwavering spirit and dedication of the Phobians as they continue their quest for excellence in the Ghana Premier League.
