Words can’t describe how disorganised Real Tamale United are. The Tamale-based club is heading straight to the abyss.
RTU was thrashed on Sunday afternoon 3-0 by Accra Hearts of Oak in Accra. Speaking after the game to Startimes, RTU head coach Abdul Mumin Abdulai revealed how shambolic the club has been ahead of the second round.
“I think that In terms of preparations, we are not there, we just started three days ago, coming into the game, so definitely, we should expect these results”, said RTU head coach Abdul Mumin Abdulai.
Ghana Premier League went on break for more than one month and RTU could not capitalize on it to prepare for the second round.
RTU is languishing at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League with just 17 points won from 18 games.
Abdul Mumin Abdulai has a huge task to save RTU from relegation as it is little by little becoming clear that they might play in the Access Bank Division One League in the 2024-25 season
