Salasi Satekla, brother of Ghanaian music icon Stonebwoy, has officially embarked on a football career by signing a two-year contract with Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities.
The offensive midfielder joined the club ahead of the second round of the 2024/25 season, with hopes of helping the team improve its performance and secure its place in the top-flight league.
Satekla was recently spotted alongside his older brother Stonebwoy at a historic football event featuring former Arsenal star Emmanuel Adebayor, further highlighting his passion for the sport.
Although Legon Cities is yet to officially announce Satekla’s arrival, the club hinted at the signing by posting one of Stonebwoy’s songs on their social media platforms, creating buzz among fans.
Satekla becomes the fourth addition to Legon Cities during the January transfer window, joining other new signings, including former Kotoko winger Emmanuel Gyamfi.
Legon Cities endured a tough first round, finishing 17th on the league table with just 14 points from 17 matches.
The team, based at the University of Ghana, hopes the new arrivals will bolster their squad and ignite a turnaround in the second half of the season.
