Meanwhile, Bibiani Gold Stars suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Both teams have secured just one victory from the three matches they have played this season. The Miners triumphed 2-1 against Asante Kotoko in week two, while the Northern Blues secured a 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak on the opening weekend.
In their previous encounters in the Ghana Premier League, each team has won their respective home games, resulting in no draws in this fixture so far.
Although it’s still early in the season, the match promises to be a competitive clash between Gold Stars, currently in 15th place on the table, and eighth-placed Real Tamale United.
