It will be a battle between the 17th and 18th-placed teams when Great Olympics welcome Kotoku Royals to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Both teams are heavily battling relegation with the Akyem-based side only taking 23 points from 29 games played so far. The Wonder Club have also amassed 35 points from the same games played and could move out of the relegation zone this weekend depending on results from other games.
With the sacking of Yaw Preko midway through the season and the appointment of Bismark Kobi-Mensah, Olympics were looking to better their record in the betPawa Ghana Premier League.
However, that has not quite gone to plan and the Accra-based side have just two wins in their last 10 games, losing five as well.
For what has been a maiden season in Ghana’s topflight for the Royals, they will feel they have learned a thing or two to return and make a better impact but they will definitely be seeking a good finish to the season.
The Ryals are without a win in their last five games and know they could fight to end that against Olympics on Sunday.
